Our work
Groundwork's purpose is to 'build sustainable communities in areas of need through joint environmental action'
To do this, we deliver projects and programmes in partnership in six key areas:
Business: integrating the economy and the environment Communities: building stronger neighbourhoods Education: learning, citizenship and sustainability Employment: training people for work and stimulating enterprise
Land: reconnecting people with their surroundings
Youth: realising young people's potential

Local Democracy InitiativeWorking with young people from East Oldham on their rights and responsibilities and local democracy.
